How can a cartoon help my anxiety?

When a person is suffering from anxiety, they want to get better. Unfortunately, one of the ailments that come with anxiety is the inability to take action to improve their life. This is because they spend so much time second guessing themselves that they become mentally paralysed to make a decision! This is a form of self-sabotage.

Self-sabotaging is a strange one. It’s as if a person has a mutinous crew inside their head! When they try to take steps to improve their lives, the mutinous crew does everything that it can to sabotage this. It does this by depleting any energy that they previously had for self improvement. After their motivation is killed off, they can easily be talked into surrendering, giving up, and throwing in the towel. However, when the info is in the form of an image, people absorb the message faster than the mutinous crew can turn their mind off, shift into skeptic mode, or develop a counter argument as to why it won’t help!
